Neuroscience-Inspired|Cognitive Enhancement
뇌과학 기반 인지기능 향상 교육연구단
Research outcome
The Neuroscience-Inspired Cognitive Enhancement group aims to nurture talents with the ability to understand the operating mechanisms of various cognitions through a convergence methodology, understand related social and industrial problems, and creatively and convergently seek breakthroughs in solving problems based on this ability.
VIEW MORECNC core
The CNC core is composed of faculty members (Jeehyun Kwag, Inah Lee, Suk-Ho Lee, and Hyung Jin Choi) with a strong foundational science character, studying the fundamental mechanisms of how the biological actions of neurons and neuralcircuits lead to cognitive functions, mind actions, and behavior.
CNS core
The CNS core consists of faculty members (Sang-Hun Lee, Sang Ah Lee, and Hyeon-Ae Jeon) who use research techniques to study and apply the principles of brain cognitive science at the systems (i.e., large network) level, which are essential not only for uncovering the neural mechanisms of how our minds work but also for applying the scientific discoveries to clinical and engineering fields.
ABC core
The ABC core consists of faculty members (Ki Woong Kim and Euitae Kim) who investigate the mechanisms of brain’s cognitive functions and regulation techniques targeting patients with brain and mental illnesses, closely aligning with actual current and future societal issues.
